Hi to all it's good to be back lol

Just thought I would share with you all Jasper got his first live mouse last night he was so proud of him self lol
lucky for me I was still reading about 2 am and in comes Jasper with his new toy he looked so happy lol well it didn't take me long to realise what he had lol and I freaked out and my poor hubby had to get up and get it off of him he was not happy at haveing to give up his prize catch lol
I'm just glad I was awake or he would have had it up on my bed yukyukyukyuk but I did get up after it was gone and gave him a big cuddle and told him what a cleaver boy he was I felt sorry for the poor little mouse
but it was eating his dry food so it was playing rushin rulet.

I sure hope Jasper takes the time to write a thread about his view of the whole thing. I really enjoy his writings. Becky

YAY! Thankfully, we have no mice to catch here. Grissom used to catch the bugs at the old place. There aren't any of those here either.

Jasper T Wildcat here! Way to go Jasper of Oz!! Caught many a mouse myself - even ate a few before meowmy could take it away.

Too bad the humans took it away from you before you could take it to show your meowmy while she was in bed. One of grandmeowmy's earlier cats did that to her. Meowmy said grandmeowmy yelled out loud for help, but grandpapurr just hid under the blankets and giggled!
Wish I could have seen that!

Hope you catch another one! Jasper T.

i don't think they really even like to eat mice, it's like a last resort thing maybe. Every cat I've had just plays with the dead body or might bite it in two but very rarely actually eats it. Even roxy who used to skin bunnies and leave them hairless on my porch won't eat a mouse now that he's an indoor cat.. but he still will catch them...

Mice don't usually carry diseases, though they can, but they often carry parasites, like toxoplasmosis and worms. Becky

Jasper says thanks to all his kitty friends

Jasper is an indoor cat to this is the first time in years we have had a mouse I think the weather is bringing them in at the moment and I must addmit as much fun as it was for JJ I can't help but feel sorry for the poor little thing
I really didn't think he had it in him lol
My hubby feels like a beast for takeing it away from him but we did cause you never know if they have been baited so better to be safe than sorry He's still strutting though he thinks he's a cleaver boy and so dose his mummy and daddy lol
