it's our 1 month anniversary!

Well, it's been a month since I've known Gene. We met online, and went on our 3rd date on Friday! At this rate, we'll be married by next summer (a girl can dream, right? )

we went shopping, and then spent most of the evening curled up together. At one point, he fell asleep and started snoring!

I'm telling you, as things are going, the weeks get longer and longer between our meetings! I'm going back to Montreal for the Christmas holidays, and I've suggested he could come down for a few days so I could show him around "my world" as I was born and raised in Montreal.

There's one thing that scares me to death, though... The first kiss. It hasn't happened yet, and it will be my first, which is why it scares me so much... any suggestions?

As for that first kiss...enjoy it!!! Don't be tense, just let it happen. And if there's some akwardness just laugh it off and enjoy. So glad to hear things are going so good for you and Gene.

yes, I speak french. I'm going to see if I can teach Gene a few words in french (he doesn't speak any) so he can impress my dad when he meets him! Even something really simple like "bonjour" or "merci" can go a long way!

I can mangle my way through spanish, too, but don't ask me to embark into a lengthy conversation in the language, I'd probably just embarass myself!

well if that didn't just make my day! Gene calls me every day to "check on me", and when he called me today, he said "I really like you" and wanted to know my school schedule to find out when he could pick me up from school and take me out for an anniversary dinner! awwwww! This guy's a keeper!

Aw, I'm so happy to hear that things are going so well for you guys! Be sure to keep us updated, especially on that first kiss... don't worry a thing about it, it'll be great!

I know I'm only 14 but my boyfriend & I will have been together for 12 months this Feb! I can't wait until it has been one year.

aaaw! Congratulations! It's stories like ours that give hope that you can meet really nice people online... not just creeps and sick-os!

Gene and I were supposed to meet a friend of his and go out for dinner, but his friend got held up and couldn't make it. Se we cooked dinner and spent another blissful evening in each other's arms. I have a loveseat which is very comfortable for one person and a dog, but it's not very comfy for 2 people, so we put the cushion on the floor and curled up there. After a while, he asked me if I wanted to try, and I said yes, and he kissed me! My first kiss! It was heaven! (I had said no last week because I really wasn't feeling ready for it). I don't think this guy is just acting, either because he told me he could see a long term future with me... and you know what? so do I. I just know that if things don't work out (I hope they do! We're doing well so far!), I'm going to fall and fall hard 'cause I can't stop thinking of him when we're apart... That's love for ya!
