Fundraising for Ferals/strays

Okay maybe this is a crazy idea... but you never know... I sell Avon, and I know that Avon has a pretty good fundraising program - between 35 and 50% generally depending on amount sold. Let's say that you had 5 vets in your area, and you got each vet to let you put your fundraiser brochures in their office, and those 5 vets each had 100 patients, you could earn quite a bit of money for the cause. Even if you didn't want to sell avon yourself, it's not hard to find an "avon lady" who would be more than happy to help you with a fundraiser. (Hey I have customers who aren't even local to me that I just ship them their stuff) You don't even have to be a designated non profit (but then you'd have to collect and pay the sales tax) just designate it as a fundraiser. Done a couple times a year some good money could be raised. I'm sure there's other direct sales companies out there that have fundraising programs, not just Avon.

That's a creative idea. Do you know of anyone who has tried this?
