this will be an excercise in caution. Molly is very particlar about how she is touched, but is hapy to come out to the livingroom and even lets me touch her paws.. is there a gentle way to pop the nails out.. the only way I know is to squeeze the pads, or press the toes out ,and i don't want to get bitten for it, but she does need them trimmed.. they got too long while we were waiting for her to become social.
Also I cannot carry her.. (It freaks her out, and then things happen that reiterate the need for a trim)

Two words- Rescue Remedy- give it to Molly about 10 minutes before you want to clip her toenails, just put a few drops on her tongue let it take effect and clip her claws- that's how I do

You can get it at Walgreens or a health food store. It's one of the Bach Flower Remedies. These are flower essenses that are used to balance both humans and animals. Rescue Remedy is a mixture of 5 different types of flowers that helps you calm down in traumatizing or stressful situations. The best thing about them is that they are drug free, have no contraindications and they work very well, especially with cats and dogs.
