oh Yay it's back! I looked and looked and had this awful feeling when Sierra didn't pop up at all. I felt guilty that we had 1/2 of Sasha's thread preserved....but she's here!
There is sunshine after all
I am so very glad for you, Stephanie, I know how much this meant to you.

Sasha, I'm so thankful so much of your thread has survived!

Thank you so much for sharing this with me, Danielle and Elizabeth, and for understanding.

Thank you so much for asking, Ariana!

Yes, overall my baby girl is doing so well!
She is eating much better these days, and even though she has periods of not feeling very well, overall, she has a good report! Early this morning, for instance, she had an episode of not feeling well and went and laid down in an odd manner in a place she doesn't usually go. Her eyes showed she felt bad, too. She was also not feeling like eating this morning. I took her to bed and we had a little nap, and she later gradually began to feel more like herself. Tonight, she is feeling great! We have had fun playing with her new toys from our SS, Laurie!
She is especially talkative tonight, too!

A very big event for us this week, though, is that we go to her Vet on Wednesday for her to receive her Rabies vaccine. She will be getting the PurVax which is supposed to not put her at any risk for VAS. I appreciate your prayers that she will have a calm visit. I do so wish we didn't have to go at all.

Wishing her a calm ride and a quick apt, so that you can both be back home where it's much more fun to be!

Definite prayers will be made for the trip on Thursday - keep us updated okay!

Glad to hear she's doing well - and you? You're doing well too?

Please let us know how the vet visit went. I hate to take them. It's so stressful

Thank you, Lisa, we really appreciate it!

Yes, Chris, it is so stressful, George could tell us a bit about that this week, too!

I'm a bit upset tonight because the Vet's office called today and asked me to change Sierra's appt to the very end of the day, 5 pm. That is not a problem. What bothers me is she wants to do this because of Sierra's "temperment". Worse than than is they want to immediately place her in an omnicage, which is a little cage they use for tempermental cats. Not only that, but then they charge you for using the cage! I told them I didn't feel that would be necessary for a simple vaccination, that she will do fine with me holding her. What she usually does is put her feet on the table and her little hands and head on my shoulder. I will say tomorrow I want to try that first, and I really believe we will be ok with that. I certainly am not going to take her straight in and plop her down in a cage, that will only upset her all the more!
That just bothers me, thank you for listening...

Aw, you have every right to be upset - I'd be upset if they asked me to do that to Bay! I think you should definitely try just holding her... she'd probably feel tons better than being stuck in a cage.

Good luck!

That would bother me as well. Have I missed some description where she turns into the Tazmanian devil? Seems a bit extreme to me
