Let's make up a story!

Pepper meowed pitifully as Piper and Peter continued laughing at him. Out of the corner of Pepper's eye, he saw something slithering toward Piper and Peter in the tall grass....

(remember guys, Peter Piper and Pepper are little boy kitties... )

All of a sudden, their sisters, Penny and Patsy, leaped out tackling them as they landed...........

With a squeal of surprise, Pepper, Piper and Peter fell to the ground as their sisters Patsy and Penny landed on them. After a second, Patsy and Pepper hopped off and strolled away snickering "See, we gals sure scared the tails off those silly boys!! Who rules now huh? We gals do!!"

"Do you want to see my fish impression?" Pepper queried the the two with a gleam in his eye. "How about a SHARK!" And with that remark let out a fur curling hiss and growl!

Oh My!!! Said Peter and Piper, what big teeth you have Pepper. Hey, said Peter, I have a great idea!! Why don't you go sneak up behind Patsy and Penny and...

. . .let's follow them and see where they go!

Perhaps we'll get the chance to scare them as they did us!

Hearing the boys make their plans to scare them, Patsy and Penny came up with another plan of their own.

Great story so far guys.......let's recap thus far..........

On a beautiful summer morning, three little boy kitties, Peter, Piper and Pepper, woke up in the barn rafters after a good night sleep.
Upon stretching their paws and slowly opening their eyes, they discovered that the barn door was open........
Past the door, a mysterious shadow lurked around in the trees.....
It was the family dog, OH NO........
Peter didn't see the dog and thought, "lions, tigers and bears, oh my"........
but the other did and.......
they gave Peter a big hug cause he was shivering in fear....
Piper mewed reassuringly to Peter, and gave the top of his head a firm lick...
Peter, surprised, turned around and whacked him with his paw...
As the three of them decided to get up to go explore after ther dog had left, they walked toward.......
the large pond in the back yard with a flock of ducks swimming around. Curiously, Peter, Piper and Pepper began too...........
move towards the ducks then Pepper tripped and rolled down toward the edge of the pond.......
which made the ducks fly frantically up into the air, surprising the other two kittens.....
"Wow, that was cool!" the kittens thought.
Deciding they wanted more of the ducks flying, the other two kittens started running toward the edge of the pond and saw Pepper coming out soaked to his fur.....
Skidding to a stop, Peter and Piper meowed, "Pepper! Are you ok?? Did the water hurt??" Pepper glared at them and then slowly started to walk away shaking his paws and tail to get the water off.......

The girls sneaked off, headed back towards the barn...........

. . .while the boys became distracted (as boys often do) by a swarm of colorful dragonflies that swooped down out of the sky and congregated over the pond.

Pepper jumped at one of the dragonflies and landed in the pond!
