Hi all,

Well, last Friday we did it again. We adopted a little black and white kitten, a male this time. He is so cuddly and active. The other girls are slowly getting used to him. However...we're stumped on a name. We would like something that goes with Lucky and Charm. Any suggestions? Feel free to let me know. Thanks much. I'll try to attach a photo so you can see him.

I don't know if this goes well if Lucky or Charm, but for a male tuxedo cat I think the name "Xedo" would be cool. Pronouned "Zee-doe".

Spunk

(he's spunky and he's black and white like a skunk!)

I like, Lucky, Charm and Spunk.

Or:
Bear
Zeus
Samoa (like the cookie)
Checker (like a checkerboard)
Oreo (tons of B&W cats named this)
Smore (like smores, dark and light)

Now I'm hungry!

I like Gizmo, maybe it's because that's what my late black and white cat's name was
He is darling, though

Awww...a Tuxedo boy!

Mojo (a magic charm or spell - or personal magnetism, charm)

Felix (the black & white cat with the magic bag of tricks)

Sylvester, the famous black & white Tweety-catcher

I love the name Mooch - the black & white cat in the Mutts comic strip http://muttscomics.com/cast/mooch.asp

Since you mentioned Lucky & Charm - how about Danny? (Irish) or Leprechaun?

Merlin (sorcerer)

Fortune

A tuxedo automatically makes me think of someone in a fine suit - Bond, James Bond!

Maxwell Smart? (sorry, on a secret-agent roll!)

Mr. Magic

*If you search "cat names" on the Internet there are lots of sites with ideas.

My black & whites are named Oreo (a good b & w name), Mr. Underfoot (for his personality), Sylvestra (for Sylvester), and Felixia (for Felix)

:p well -Lucky, and Charm are both Virtues, yeh?

So if you want to continue that, Oz is hebrew for strength
Or go with Magick, (because it's not a high virtue like chastity)
Chaos, Onyx, or wish
Or Omen... or am I waxing to dark? lol sorry ^.^

I think Oreo is a good name.
Your baby looks just like one of the orphaned kittens I'm caring for. My nephew named him Oreo, here's his pic:

Bijou I think it means jewel/gem in French or Beelzebub after Mark Twains cat.

Our recued B/W is called MewMew because that's all he did once he started to recover.

There's no place like home
I just got a feral girl that is a tuxie. After pondering it long and hard, I went the route of black and white screen stars - Rita Hayworth (or just Rita). Doesn't go with the Lucky or Charm, but lots of cool black & white male screen stars out there.

And btw....my tuxie boy is Eight-ball - husband picked the name. I didn't like it at first, but since he is such a goofy guy, his knickname has become Goof-ball, which does fit.

I also like Oreo!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you all for the wonderful suggestions. We had a difficult time choosing because so many of the names were so adorable and appropriate for our little guy. We decided on:

MAGIC

He already comes when we call him that, so I guess that's the name he liked best.

I really enjoyed all your cat photo's and the names of your cats as well. Lots of beautiful cats out there!!!

Thanks again to all who responded! Much appreciated!

I'd name him Sylvester.... but that's because my childhood male tuxedo had that name.
