Just wanting to find out how many people are from Texas. I'd also be interested in finding breeders for Persian's. OK so let me see who you all are!!

Hello there Fast Persian!! Sounds like you are interested in cars. My boyfriend is a real car person too. I know he is a regular on hondatech forums, and also some mustang forum too...

Anyway, I am in Dallas, just up the road from you.... No info on persian breeders, myself. All 3 of my kitties are rescues.

Do you already have any cats? Or will the Persian you are looking for be your first?

Hi there! I'm in South Texas.

I've never had a Persian, but if you have questions about them as a breed, you might want to post a question in the Breeders' corner of these Forums.

There are also Persian rescue groups, if you're interested in giving a rescued Persian a good home - check with your local Humane Society or vet & ask if they can refer you to a local Persian Rescue. Or try Petfinder: www.petfinder.com

These people are in San Antonio (quite a drive, but might be worth it if they have the cat you're looking for: South Texas Persian Rescue

Well we just sold our house in Frisco, TX. Heck, I used to work at Presby Plano Hospital. That was the best job and best working environment I ever had. I sure miss Texas. I'm not getting used to Georgia that well....

I LOVE it here in Texas--but I can't really judge other places because I haven't lived anywhere but in Hueytown, Alabama, but that's when I was a kid for a short time. I just wish it would stop raining here...looks like we got about 2 more weeks of this dreaded weather I want to actually go swimming this summer and go to the beach again!!

Well this will be MY first, but I'm going to be getting it for my g/f. I've always been a dog person since I raised Rottweilers all my life while I lived at home (my dad still does). She got me wanting a black Persian with orange eyes. I think that would be a pretty cool looking cat.
