Well, I like these "getting to know you" threads, so I am starting one of my own. I've only got one question though.

What do you collect?

I collect porcelain and ceramic cat figurines, I even go as far as to enter them in online shows. I used to have a vast Breyer (and other) horse collection, but as I needed money I sold more and more of them, so I am down to a small herd of sentimental ones only.

I collect rag dolls. Started with my first Holly Hobbie doll back in the 60's. Remember her girls?
Also I collect ceramic/porcelain lady figurines. They look like they belong in the "Gone with the Wind" era............. Jerry says I'm such a girl........duhhh, yeah!

I just started a collection, actually. I've bought my first two D&D figurines from ebay today. Right now I'm concentrating on drow elves, from the R.A. Salvatore books, but I plan to branch out once I've gotten them all. I'm enamored with the attention to detail the artists give to these tiny figures- I can see many paychecks of mine going towards this

Clothes!

Actually I don't collect anything, but always seem to be buying more & more clothes. Maybe that makes me a collector?

OOh...great idea for a thread!

I collect Harmony Kingdom Treasure Jests (whimsical, intricate boxes that look like large netsuke), J.S. Perry's prints (wonderful cat artist), a local artist named Enid Groves and in a very limited degree, Jody Bergsma prints.

The HK is my main passion, with J.S. Perry second.

I also love old china tea cups and saucers

Does collecting recipes count at all?

Yeah, the Salvatore books rock
Ive read all the Drizzt series except the 2 newest.
As for me, I collect anything with tigers on it. My room is getting a little bit cramped with all the stuff. Oh and I also collect miniature pewter BattleTech figures if any of you know what that is.

Peace,
Brandon

I collect sports cars
I have a 93 and 95 Camaro..also a 96 Grand Sport Corvette. I've always been into fast cars all my life so that's what I'm into collecting.

I collect Fiestaware, a brand of china first produced in the 50's and 60's. The company has come out with new colors within the past few years, and this is the majority of what I have (my neighbor knows I collect, so for Christmas he gives me a full serving in the latest color). I've also been able to pick up a few vintage pieces at antique shows and at shops. I regularly use all the pieces I've bought or have been given.

T-shirts! When I visit a new place I make sure to buy those commemorative t-shirts from the local vendors. Some I get to wear, others I just keep in my closet.
