A little background. I talked to the guy next door, who informed me the landlord is notorious for empty promises... apparently they have had this issue several times before. As well as a furnace that leaked CO2 and sent 3 people to the hospital. So I wrote a message, let me know if it is okay, please....

I have been using the Ultrasonic machines for the roach problem in my apartment. I have seen a decrease in the number of roaches, but it has not been significant. The ultrasonic machines are also harming my cat. While the sound isnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t heard by humans, it can be heard by cats and after awhile can cause brain damage as well as other disorders. My cat is very important to me, so I was hoping you would be able to do something about the exterminating. I have been reading about renters rights and the laws governing land lords and tenets. You said the problem with the extermination was the lack of cooperation of the people living in Apartment # 4. According to the Renters Rights Handbook, as long as you give the tenets of Apartment # 4, 24 hours notice you are allowed to enter their apartment without their presence. I am going on vacation next week, and my mother will be taking my cat, as well as checking in on my plants. I would like it if the building can be exterminated while I am on vacation. If not, I am going to go ahead and call Gera Exterminators. They said they can do my apartment for 50 dollars. The only problem with this is, if the whole building is not done, it will have to be done every 4 to 6 weeks. Since my allergies are VERY bad and the roaches aggravate them, it is essential that we eliminate them. I will call Gera when I return from vacation to have the apartment exterminated, and just take the cost out of my rent. I think Mr. Nedley is interested in doing this as well.

Does this sound okay? Since he hasn't done anything before, I thought maybe if I showed I did my research he would do something. My neighbor informed me that he has been written up twice for building violations as well. GRRR. Where was this neighbor before I signed the lease!!!??? Also, am I accurate about the harm of the ultrasonic machines on Grissom? The vet told me they hurt cats after extended use but didn't say why...

Another Thing!!! My neighbor informed me that my landlords name is Bill Hsu, even though the rent check and the mailbox I drop it into has the name Xiang He on it. He said that is Bill's uncle. Well, this being said, I just looked at my lease, and it says Xiang He on it, but Bill signed it... What's up with that? Can he do that? Does that even make it legal?

well if your vet said it harms the cats, I'm guessing their eardrums? Then I would be inclined to believe him. Regardless why.

"I would like it if the building can be exterminated while I am on vacation. If not, I am going to go ahead and call Gera Exterminators. They said they can do my apartment for 50 dollars. then I would add after that statement
And if the whole building is not done by this time or shortly afterwards then I will be forced to exterminate my own apartment every 4 weeks and continue to deduct the cost from my rent.

p.s. spell check, sorry. Tenant not tenet.

Also, I would mention that you checked with your vet and the ulstrasound machine does harm to cats. That way you don't sound like an overbearing cat owner, ya know?
