Puddin, my lastest love of my life, is a 10 week old kitten. She was 5 1/2 weeks old when I adopted her. She is perfect in everyway except... At night she wants to suckle. The problem is not the suckling, it's the fact that I don't have anything that pleases her. I have offered my earlobes, neck, chin and fingers. She roots and digs around in my hair in crying in frustration and believe me a 4:00 am wake-up call with little claws digging into my scalp is a problem. I don't wish to discipline her or move her from my room. Are there any nursing supplies or toys, etc. I can't get to please her?

It sounds like she may be hungry. As well as her normal food, you can offer her kitten glop. The recipe is on this page. There are also some good suggestions on how to deal with the suckling here.
