Well, I dont think this belongs in any of the other forums, so I will post it here. My daughter brought up a good question tonight. I have really never thought to ask or wonder why. Anyone know why when a cat (or dog) is sleeping, their noses are dry. When they are active, they are cool and wet. HMMMMMMMMMMMM....anyone????

Hmm, I'm going to be cheeky and say I don't know but I will add to the question: Why do pick noses become especially pink sometimes and almost white at other times???

Good question. I never realized there was a difference, I guess. I have never felt either my cats or dogs noses when they are sleeping.

So I guess there IS a difference? Huh. I wonder why? No clue here.
