My co-worker had that little kit put down last Friday. I didn't find out until I came into work this morning, but I wanted to let everyone know that my whole feral family, including the two new kits, came to breakfast this morning. I had to get up early because today is watering day, and I finished about 5:50 or so and made a fresh cup of Franch Vanilla coffee and sat out on the porch to listen to the birds sing. One by one they all came, DaddyCat, MotherCat, ValerieCat, Patches, Princess and the two new kits, unamed as of yet. The little kits were skittish, but hopped up on porch and set to eating away. I have actually petted Princess two or three times in the last week or so. I feel very much at peace. If it hadn't been for the guidance and direction from all you wonderful people, I don't know if things would have been so good. Thank you all very much from my beautiful, healthy feral family.

How wonderful that you had a visit from the whole family this morning! It must have given yo a huge smile!

I'm sorry to hear about the kitten who had to be put down. Even when it is for the best, it is so very sad.

Your feral family sounds wonderful. Have you ever posted pics of them? If not, I'm sure we'd all love to see them.
As for the little one having to be put to sleep, that's never an easy decision. God bless him/her.
