I have 6 cats, 1 new baby just 2 months ago, but this problem started before the new kitten.
My first cat, 2.5 yr old Isabella now is scared to come home!
-the two older cats will no longer allow her to come into the yard, and absolutely not into the house.
The two older cars (patches and Samantha lived in this house first with my partner, but this didn't start this as soon as I moved in upstairs...-we have 2 apartments in one home)
-They chase her away when she tries to come into the driveway. She yells to me for food because she refuses now to come up into the house.

She looks healthy, I go and sit with her, she is very sweet with me, I bring her food: (I try not too )so not to enable her not coming in but then I am afraid she won't eat.

I am so sad, she seems to have no home now, never comes in, not even on the porches. Where does sge sleep? I miss her, and am afraid she is sad.

Does anyone have an experience or advice they can offer?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. PLease email me at [email protected].

Michelle if you have two apartments could you pick your poor little kittie up and take upstairs with you and keep her inside there? I can think of no other suggestions, but someone else will come along.

A:
I did try that approach and she seems to have so much panic waiting to see if another cat is going to come in, then I put her alone inn my studio with the door closed, and she was still nervous.
she was dying to get out and looking at me like why are you doing this?
THank you greatly, I am so sad, and the morning is the hardest...the kitties just fought again, and I have to search for her and console her.
sad.

I know that she may seem nervous about being in the second apartment - but I actually think this is a good idea.
Obviously something has happened to Isabella that has traumatised her alot - so it may take some time for her to overcome these fears.

Like Cilla - I cant offer any other advice - but someone who knows more about behaviour problems will be able to give you some advice and get it all sorted out.
Make sure you keep checking back in to see when they have replied

Good luck - my thoughts are with you and Isabella
