Hi from Denmark

Hi! Just found this site, and am glad to be here.

A little about me:

My name is Camilla and live in Denmark, is soon starting breed Maine Coon( next year). I am 33, and live in Roskilde, which is a suburb 36 km from Copenhagen. We have two Maine Coons at the moment, but we are looking for a second girl - but it will surely take some time for us to find another perfect girl.

A little presentation of our cats:

Peacemaker, Red Blotched Tabby male, 1 1/2 year old and neuter. He loves to sleep in the sun for hours.

Magic Flirt, Black Tortie Makrel Tabby female, 9 months old and will hopefully have her first litter next year. But first she have to pass her tests before we start to breed with her.

You are more than welcome to have a look at our cats and all the pictures we have taken of them in our gallery at www.sparhawk.dk and hopefully you will leave a pawprint in our guestbook to.

Hey Camilla,

Welcome to the cat site! Your cats are gorgeous! Your message caught my eye, because although I love cats, I'm so very, very fond of Denmark too! I adore Copenhagen and it's my intention to be living out there with my boyfriend by the end of next year I don't know a soul out there apart form those I've met on previous trips, so it would be lovely if we could stay in touch somehow. I'm supposed to be coming out to Copenhagen for a holiday in August and I'm really looking forward to it - I'll be able to see Tivoli Gardens for the first time!

Velkomme til "The Cat Site" - jeg lærer dansk og det er godt til at praktisere med nogen, som ville ikke at le på mig!
(My Danish is pretty lousy, but I am self-taught so far... so far my boyfriend has only really successfully taught me expletives!)

Hi Emma thanks so much for your kind words on my cats.

Yes Copenhagen is a lovely town, and off course I would like to stay in touch with you, you are very welcome to send me an email which you can find in my profile.

It is funny that you are from Scotland, which is one of my favorite places on earth.

Hello Camilla, Welcome! When I think of Denmark, I think of its brave citizens during World War II, and Hans Christian Anderson. Now I can think of you and your cats! They are lovely! A big purr from my Franz, a Maine Coon mix and my little girl Madeline from across the Atlantic!

Welcome, Camilla!

I went to see Runrig (my favourite band) in Roskilde a few years ago at the music festival. Lovely town!

Your kitties are gorgeous! I have a good friend in Germany who is wanting a Maine Coon and may be ready for one by the time your little Flirt is ready to have kittens. He goes up your way usually every spring. I'll send hime the link to your site!

Hi Heidi

Thanks for the welcome. You are indeed right that Maine Coons are great, as we often say in the house Maine Coon Cats rules

Uhhh I love the music from Runrig, and my favorite song will always be Loch Lomond. and Roskilde is just the place to be when to hear Runrig

Then we must hope that he likes Flirt´s look and type

Yay!! Another Runrig fan!! Runrig fans are nearly impossible to find in the U.S. I think Celtic music just isn't popular enough here. And you're right...Rosklide IS the perfect place to hear them! Heard them at Tønder, too, and I like Roskilde better.

I gave my friend your link and he says he wants to steal your Flirt and keep her for himself! He travels a lot right now and is trying to settle down so he can have a kitty. His goal is that by this time next year - no more travelling for work! He'll be just in time for Flirt's kitten season, it seems!
