So far out in left field I got lost
Well it's 97 degrees here where we live, lower south GA, and the boys and the girl are hot. The Sammycat, Oscar and Ceasar got a cool refreshing drink of ice water. They loved it. Dakota and Nakita just got a huge block of ice to play with and a bucket of ice water too. Those babies are having a blast with the ice
All I can hear is chomp, chomp on the ice
At least that will keep them all cool....I hope

Movin' on up!
We run triple-digits, from May through September and I frequently put ice in the cats' and dogs' water. Ike and Pearl have a 4-gallon galvanized washtub (Pearl eats plastic containers) and Pearl loves "bobbing" for ice cubes.

The cats sprawl in front of the cooler vents and under the ceiling fans and the dogs have lots of shade.

It's been in the upper 90's here this past week also. I am in north Florida. Inside it stays plenty cool enough for Dori, but geesh our electric bill doubles and then some this time of year. I guess being on the third (top) floor with vaulted ceilings doesn't help

It sure is hot here in Georgia
We had yesterday with heat index 110 degrees . It is raining almost every day , but the rain is not cooling the heat down
. I wish the heat would move a little away to the ones who needet
. With the rain the mosquitos come and they breed in every trop of rain around here . Just walking around my yard I get all bit up .
I also place Ice cupes in the water bowels for my anymals , I even place a extra water bowel in the cat eclosure now to make sure they will have enough water . I think it is really bad her this year .
