We have four little kittens living in our home and they all have fleas. They will be five weeks old on Thursday. There mom is a feral cat and I'm sure they got it from her. I don't know what is the best way to get rid of these terrible bugs! Someone suggested bathing the kittens in citrus antibacterial dishsoap. The fleas are supposed to hate the citrus and it is supposed to be safe for the kitten. This worked a little but it was a real pain worrying about them getting dry and not getting cold since they are still so young. We have the fleas all over the house now and I am getting covered in bites. (sigh). Fleas just love me. Anyway! I just don't know how I can get the fleas off of them and treat my home also in a safe way. I can't find anything out there that I can used on a kitten that is younger than twelve weeks.
Can anyone please help me before I go insane? Thanks!!!!

Until you can treat the house and the kitties with some sort of bath and/or "bomb" (for the house, of course!), start off with combing them with a flea comb. Although it won't kill the fleas in the house, it'll make them a little more comfortable in the meantime. Flea Comb Example
