I know that everyone's attention is elsewhere but I need to get away from the TV for a few hours to save my sanity. I finally found a treat that Tiki likes. It makes it much easier to train her. I even taught her to play dead! She only does it when I have food in my hand but i'm working on it. Here is the latest picture.
She is still obsessed with putting things in my shoes and attacking it.

Nitecrwlr!! That is too cute! I can never get over what a gorgeous cat she is!! I love the pic - I think she needs a smaller shoe size though eh? hee hee

One of my cats gave us a heart attack the other night - we were watching a scary film on video when we heard this really weird scratching....we looked around and couldn't see anything (all the lights were out...) it kept going and it was getting faster and faster, we realised it was coming from the front door, we both turned to look when just at that second a fat fluffy head appeared through the window!! The window (well, panel of glass really..) in our front door is quite high up and there is nothing to grip onto so we went into shock when we saw the cat dangling there!! We opened the door and he just hung there pressing his face on the glass - his bck legs dangling out behind him!! It was sooooo funny - I rekon he knew what we were watching and timed it just right....

(Sorry to babble on there......)

That is a great picture. You should enter some of your photos in photo contests. There is one on the Internet that has a grand prize of $10,000. It is www.picture.com I know a person who is a finalist in that contest. It was just a picture of kids so you know a cat would really be pretty, cute, etc.

Oh Nitecrawlr....thank you so much for showing us that picture!!!!! Tiki is so adorable!!! I wish you could see my merlin, too, he reminds me of tiki, except his markings aren't the same, as he isn't actually a Bengal, but he does remind me of Tiki!

How do you get a picture the same size as the one you posted above of Tiki, onto this site? I am computer illiterate mostly, and I want so badly to post my pics, but they are too big, and several wonderful members have offered to post them for me, but I want them to be the same size as the picture you just posted of Tiki, not real small, but how can I do that?

Nite:

Cute picture, and a warning to beware!! Joey plays the same game as Tiki. He has a few specific things he loves fishing out of my shoes. The other day he was out on the porch and caught a stray lizard. He brought it into the house, half dazed, and proceeded to put it in the shoe and attack it as it tried to escape. Oof. I didn't mind the toys, but the lizard guts were a little much!

Wish you would have got a picture of it! Just when you think you've seen everything, they go and surprise...er frighten the heck out of you!

Thanks for the link. Sounds interesting! I had some of my digital pictures of Tiki printed and will be submitting them to Cat Fancy soon. Wish me luck!

Hi Deb!

I'm glad you liked the picture. I've seen a few cats that look alot like a Bengal. Do you know what kind of cat merlin is? I usually resize the picture to 500 pixels width. It seems like a good compromise. There are several programs that can accomplish this. Here are links to my favorite two. Let me know if you need more help!

Well...if your photos are published in Cat Fancy, be sure to let us know!

I think that you have enough talent to be at least a "hobbyist professional photograph"...

Nitecrwlr...I am downloading the first website you posted, right now. I can't do the other one, becuase it isn't free, and it says it cost $99 to download, which I am sure is well worth it, if you use it alot, but I just want to put a few pics of my cats on this site. Nothing too fancy, unfortunately, I'm not much of a photographer.

Merlin actually might not look much like Tiki, to anyone else but me, because Merlin has more of a stripe pattern, than spots, but there coloring is the same, and he just reminds me alot of Tiki.

Thanks for your help!! I hope I can figure this out, but if not, I will have someone post them for me.

Thanks!!!!!!

If all you need is to have them resized you can email them to me and I can do a few for you. I've got a fast connection to the internet so size doesn't matter. Looking forward to see them either way!

I can't see the picture. Actually, I haven't seen pictures in some posts that I thought had pictures before. Is there something I did that would make pictures disappear?

Nitecrawlr, I appreciate your offer, and I may take you up on that, a couple other people have also offered to post them for me, but the only reason I am holding out on it, is because I want to post a remark about each picture,(telling what the cat was doing, and which cat it was, etc) and not just post the picture alone. So, I was hoping to learn to do it myself, but if I can't figure it out, I will take you up on your offer.

I am going to go ahead and e-mail you one picture of Merlin, since you have been so sweet to me, to try and help me, but don't post it, I just want to show him to you, and I am going to try to do this all on my own, (with your help, that is...) It may be Monday before I get a chance to try out the website you gave me, and it is downloaded, I have the icon on my desktop now, so I just want to show you one of the pics of my Merlin, so you can see him!

Thank you!
