Did anyone buy stocks yesterday?

I am very finacially unsavvy, but I was wondering if anyone bought any stocks yesterday. I've been wanting to buy stocks for a long time, but not knowing much about it, I've been scared.

Yesterday I figured what the heck and bought some. I figured now is the time since things are so low. I believe in the economy and that it will bounce back. I even called my grandmother (who is a financial wizard) and told her instead of anything for X-mas, I would like for her to get me some stocks. She was so pleased and bought me some more.

I was just curious if anyone else invested?

I think you were very smart. I was kicking myself this morning for not taking advantage of the temporary drop in prices. But....I'm so unsavy that I have no idea how or where to buy a stock!

Lotsocats, if you're interested I will give you the name of my guy. He is wonderful and I trust him implicitly. My grandmother is an absolute finanical whiz and has done exceedingly well and she trusts him. She can be a ballbreaker so if he's good enough for her, he's good enough for me.

I don't understand the stock market but friends of ours have been buying and mostly to support our country. If I had a lot of money I would buy some but it isn't in our budget....LOL.

We didn't buy any stocks, but hubby informs me that apparently Osama bin Laden did.
