I adopted a Puppy today

Some of you may know that I went to the shelter this week and sign up to volunteer to drive the animals to the vet . When I was there I was falling in love with 2 puppy's , some kind of GreatDane/hound cross . One is a brown like a Boxer ( can't think of the colour name ) and the other is a blue brindle (sp) I think . I did talk to my husband about them , both are females . So today we both went to look at them and my husband like the blue brindle female , I did like the brown one myself more . But they both are very pretty girls and I always wanted a girl dog . So after looking at them today we left the shelter and went to a store , in the mean time we were talking about them . My husband like to tease me and pick on me I never did say to my hubby that they are a great dane mixes , but you can tell on the feet they will get big . So finaly he said go and get what you want , but I like the blue one . My husband like dogs and he like them big . So I went and got me the blue girl for us . She is only about 3 month old and already as big as my Boston Terrier Toby She love to be inside and love to eat the pig ears LOL . She is ok with the cats and try to play with them , but give up playing after the cats did not want to play with her . I did give her a bath , phew she had a smell on her and she did good letting me give her a bath . I will go next week for a health check to my vet with her to see is everything is ok with her .
But now I need a Name for her . Maybe you all can come up with a good Name for her
I don't have any pics of her yet , sorry . But as soon I have some I will post them for all of you to look at my beautiful girl . I am in love btw

Any advice for a puppy ? I never had one

Congrats on the puppy Hedi.........I had two dogs, Jack and Scruffy, who I had for 17 years, and they were the best 17 years of my life. You'll love having the puppy. As for a name, watch her and name her after her personality. As far as the kitties, they will want to play with her someday. Puppies just take some getting used too.

Congrats on becoming a Mommy once again Hedi! No advice here with puppies...but they sure are cute little buggers, huh?

Can we see a picture of her? Maybe that will spark some ideas for names!

DiMa I was not planing on having any more furbaby's of any kind . My house is full , so no more cats or dogs .

This Puppy is alway very happy to see us , no matter who it is . My husband is thinking to call her "Happy" now . I really don't care much for that Name at all .

Tigger , Toby is ok with her . We just have to watch not to make him jelous .
