3. What was the most recent dream that you remember? I dreamed last night about a guy I used to date three years ago. He kept calling me and inviting me over and when I'd get there he'd be gone, then he'd call and apologize and invite me over again, and he'd be gone... it was a round-robin nightmare!

4. a) What do you do about those gifts that aren't in your taste but you don't want to hurt the giver's feelings? accept them gracefully! if you really appreciate the thought, the gratitude is real.

b) What is the worst gift you remember getting? my best friend brought over an assembled, glued 5000 piece jigsaw puzzle of a primitive Amish scene. It was awful (I can't stand that kind of art) and HUGE and she was SO proud of it! I thanked her and told her it would be just perfect for the guest room, and would hang it as soon as I could get it mounted. I haven't, of course, but I couldn't bear telling her the truth, she was so proud of it.

What memories would you erase if you could (if any)? OMG, everything that happened to me between the ages of 9 and 26.

I propose a toast to my Mother, who has been there for me whenever I have needed her. She is the only one in my life that knows when something is wrong, and can usually tell me what is wrong without asking. We are very in tune. I drink a "Chi Chi" to you, Momma!

Because life is too short to drink cheap beer. (I know that's Warsteiner's tagline but I prefer Guinness. And St. Pat's is right around the corner and my Irishness made me do this)

I was at a pizza place having lunch with one of the girls from work and I saw a boy I used to have a big crush on in high school. It was a rather odd dream.

I sometimes keep it.. depending on the person. Otherwise I give it to someone who I know will like it or donate it to charity.

Fortunately that doesn't seem to happen to me, but I think it would depend on what kind of gift it was. If it's something I could hold my nose and use when they're around, but put away otherwise, I probably would. If it's something that I could exchange, ostensibly for a different size, and "not be able to get the same style", I'd probably do that. If it's possible to re-gift without the giver knowing, I would.

Please have the beverage of your choice -- mine is Highland Park (single malt scotch) with one small rock and a tiny splash of water.

I didn't want to buy it - it was a horrible rip-off, and my partner tried to pressure and brow-beat me into buying. I stood my ground and we had a terrible fight. I was so miserable I wept all the way back home.

1. What cd(s) are in your cd player right now? Poison's Greatest Hits, Californication-The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Great American Song Book- Rod Stewart, and some others I can't remember.

2. Do you generally read the intros, jackets and acknowledgments in books? At least the jacket.

3. What was the most recent dream that you remember? I dreamt a co-worker brought their baby into work in the middle of an important meeting.

4. a) What do you do about those gifts that aren't in your taste but you don't want to hurt the giver's feelings? Usually they go up in the closet until next time I give to the good will.

b) What is the worst gift you remember getting? A cheap fondue set. For two reasons, one I don't like fondue, and two it looked like it would fall apart if I touched it.
