He's been acting kind of funny lately...some different symptoms on and off for the last couple of days. Last night, he threw up a lot, but then acted normal. I think it may just be a bad hairball...this morning he was chewing his food but some of it was getting on the floor like he couldn't eat all of it
I kept petting him and he kept purring and purring and wanting to eat more, but I didn't want him getting sick again. So, I told Zack I was taking him to the vet tonight and left the house in tears.

I got on the phone with my vet and they said they were booked this evening and couldn't get him in. Needless to say, I hung up on them

I got into work and my co-worker immediately got her vet on the phone and Michelle talked to me and told me to bring him in, it may just be a hairball. So, I am leaving work in about 1 1/2 hours and going to bring him back over here to the vet that is right behind my office!! They will watch over him for the rest of the day!

Please think about us today and pray that is JUST a hairball and nothing VERY serious than that. I'll keep you guys posted, and I am sorry this is sooooo long

Candie I am so sorry to hear Mittens isn't feeling well. I know how upsetting this is for you
I am saying a prayer for you and Mittens right now that everything is ok and it is nothing serious.
Poor Mittens, give him a kiss for me.

Candie, this must be awful for you! Thank goodness your co-worker has a good vet that could get Mittens in right away!

Sending loads of healthy energy to Mittens, and calming vibes to you.

Get Well Mittens! And stop scaring your mama! I hope it's just a hairball and that Mittens is back to his old self soon. Glad to hear you found a vet to see him!

I felt terrible this morning, you guys! If half the lady's in my office weren't on vacation this week, I would have taken him in ASAP the minute I saw him this morning. I felt so helpless...thank God my backup is letting me go early!
1 more hour! Thanks for all of your thoughts, vibes and prayers....

The vet said he think it may just be hairballs...he was a really great doctor, he was really good with him. I was so upset that I cried the whole way home before I picked him, and as soon as I walked in, he came right up to me and starting purring. But, I could tell he'd been sick all morning if you know what I mean.

Anyway, they gave me some Laxatone for his paw that I have to give him morning and night, and I have to change his food because of his weight also. I feel much better, but I just want to get him home now and make sure he can eat normally. I'll keep you all posted...but keep sending those vibes because we are not out of the woods until he is 100%. BTW, he is in a little jail right now and they are keeping a close eye on him. I miss him
and I want to go hold him right now....
