I've been using Pounce. The one that comes in the jar. It's name escapes me. But I was wondering if there is a more healthy treat anyone has found. Any ideas?

Thank you,

Diane

Most of my cats won't eat treats, but the couple who do won't eat any kind but Whiskas Temptations...although I'm not sure about their nutrional value.

I only buy the hard crunchy type treats for Charlotte. I have tried Wiskas and Pounces in various flavors but she wasn't too crazy over them. She also wasn't too excited over the texture of soft treats. Plus, everytime I gave her soft treats, she'd throw up within 30 minutes.

She absolutely loves the Nutro Max Gourmet Kitty treats though in tuna or salmon flavor. Of course she'd preferr these because they cost $1.99 compared to $0.99 !!

Dori loves those also. She doesn't like any sort of soft treats only the crunchy kind.

Oh boy...this is Alix's favorite topic in life
My cats love Kitty Kaviar, WildSide Salmon, Dr. Harvey's Whisker Smackers, Rosie's Rewards - both the cat and the ferret version (ferret version has additional taurine and sl. higher fat content), baa bits and shrimp bits....

I get into trouble when I buy "over the counter" treats from the grocery store. Things such as Pounce's Carribean crunch caused vomitting and the lovely dyes from this treat stained my carpet

I generally don't like giving them anything with the consistency of play dough, which is what a lot of the whiskas and pounce treats have.

Oh boy...Alix heard me type the word "treat"

Graham and Cirrus get Nutro treats. They both like them very much... Marshmallow used to go wild over them. *sigh*

Max loves Whiskalikins Tuna/Salmon tarter control treats, however, his absolute favorite is Kitty Kaviar.

I have tried Toms Treats, which is crunchy type, they don't like them. Last over the counter was Karoonga catnip treats which they all love. I give them a taste of tuna for a treat and sometimes cook a coley for them.

oh my, Sasha can down an entire bag of Wild Salmon treats from Pat's site, Plain Brown Tabby. He will eat anything we order for him from that site, it's wonderful and super healthy!

For my kitten who is 9 weeks old. I use Whisker Lickin's (Moist) it's soft enough for her to eat. And she totally loves Beef, Turkey, and Chicken. I would suggest this treat for kittens because it's soft enough for them to chew on.
