Getting to Know You

1. I am very shy. (I have been all my life.)
2. I am a country girl - a redneck actually. (And I love country music too -very much)
3. I collect Shirley Temple things. (One day I would like to have a Shirley Temple doll. I have been unable to afford one and I've wanted one all my life.)
4. I only drink Coca-cola - since birth, believe it or not - (and yes, I'm serious. That's pretty much all I drink.)
5. I write poetry and I am currently a finalist in the International Library of Poetry Contest and recently won an Editor's Choice Award. I have had some poems published and will have another published soon. One of my poems was one of 33 selected to be on a poetry CD.

And I've noticed some height going on here, so...In case you're interested, I am about 5'7" and around 112 pounds. (A woman that's not afraid to add her weight ....for now)

its a bugger - I do as well!!! my husband doesnt even have to look at me to know that I have been crying - he just has to see a tear on the tv and say "your crying arent you"

Does he have the beautiful long hair? I saw one a couple of weeks ago and I could not take my eyes off his hair, it was so beautiful!

Hmmm, what haven't I told before?

1. I eat cocktail sauce on my scrambled eggs.

2. I was born without wisdom teeth.

3. All my CDs and books must be alphabetized.

4. I can't sleep with my feet covered.

5. I can lucid dream.

1. I'm terrified of clowns. They make me cry and lose all use of any motor function. My friends once thought it would be funny to put in a movie about clowns and tell me it was something else, I wouldn't speak to them for a few hours.

2. I love snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, and basically any other activity that puts a board under my feet.

3. I am spending next fall in London and hopefully travelling around Europe while I'm there also.

4. I am the youngest of four as well as the only girl.

5. I love sunny warm place (just like my Sheba) which is why I chose to go to college in Florida instead of my homestead of Indiana.

My daughter is terrified of clowns too. As a child she really thought they were hurting each other and the fear has never gone.

When I was about 4 or 5 I snuck out of bed while my brothers where watching a horror movie about clowns and hid behind our couch to watch it. I have been afraid of them ever since. My mother has always said that I got what I deserved.

1. I am going to school for nursing and hope to eventually become a physicians assistant.
2. I can not sleep without being under a comforter, it can't be just a sheet and my feet have to be covered.
3. I HATE dirt! I cannot stand for my hands or feet to get dirty
4. I am addicted to espresso drinks, I love them!
5. I have a 4.0 gpa.

I'm 5 feet tall
I have to hack my pants off when I buy them, at like the knees. I don't understand why they can't make womens pants in lengths.

5 things I haven't blabbed on and on about before...hmmmmmm....

1) I have my BA in Theater with an emphasis on directing, but I work in a bank.
2) I have a weird claustrophobia. I'm not afraid of closed in room, elevators don't bother me. But put me in tight clothing or even shoes and watch me hyperventilate.
3) I have 2 younger sisters and an older brother.
4) I haven't travelled outside the contiguous states but my dream is to someday go to Australia
5) I'm a avid romance novel reader.

i'm 5 ft. too i know just how you feel. capri's are too long but just a 1/2 inch too short for pants!! lol

2. i have 18 percings and 3 tattoos

Great thread! I don't have a lot of time to spend in the lounge, but I read each and every post and enjoyed it thouroughly!

ok... 5 things about me -

1. I have never been to the USA and I still don't feel comfortable speaking English (as opposed to writing).
2. Something inside my eyes (behind the cornea) is reveresed. It doesn't make any difference to my sight, but whenever I go in for an eye checkup, they call all of the doctors to come and look into my eyes and see the rare anomaly.
3. I have no fillings in my teeth and haven't seen the dentist in years (don't need to).
4. I have never smoked a cigarrette in my life (not even tried to - ever).
5. I still breastfeed both of my kids (7 months old and 2.5 years old).

How the devil did you do that?? I brush my teeth 3 times a day, floss twice a day and i still have a mouth full of silver and stained teeth that make me look twice my age.

I also have no cavities (I'm 32), nor does my old brother (34), my father (62) or my grandfather, who just died at 99 in March.

I think it's fair to say that in our case it's genetics! my little brother has MANY fillings as does my mother and my daughter.

Oh god yes! Native American men are genetically blessed in that department. None of the men on either side of his family (he's full-blooded Native American-Shawnee on his mom's side/Cherokee on his dad's) ever lose their hair or get gray hair. His maternal grandfather just got remarried five years ago to a woman who is a year younger than I am!

It's hard to think of new things to tell you guys, infact you probably all know everything about me.

1. I've got very long finger nails, and I LOVE them. I think they are my favourite part of my body.

2. Whenever I eat Beef, I smother it in 1000 Island Dressing.

3. I'm an atheist.

4. I'd love to visit Spain.

5. I speak fluent French as well as English.

1-I love horses just about more than anything on this earth.

2-I don't drink alchohal.

3-I used to be a singer, before my vocal cords were damaged.

4-Primarily I am a heavy metal rock fan, however, I also love the old Swing music like Benny Goodman

5-My biggest dream is to move to New York City.
