My 14 year old male taby can't meow anymore. I cut in and out and is extremly strachy if he does. that is if anything comes out at all when he opens his mouth He was just fine up to a couple of says ago. he eat and drinks and does eveything else just fine. whats wrong with him? we also got a kitten 4 weeks ago... but this isn't his first time with a new pet.... also ... he is also diabetic.....

If I were you I would take him to the vet. He may have something caught in his throat
But it's always better to be safe than sorry
I agree - especially at his age and given his medical condition it would be best to have him see the vet for a good once over. Better safe than sorry.
