Hi, I'm Kylie, I'm 20 and a university student from Toronto, ON. I just signed up here today.
I have three kitties: Meeko, a 9-year-old black and white domestic short hair, Esmeralda, an 8-year-old calico domestic short hair, and Phineas, a 3-year-old white and black domestic medium hair. I've had both Meeko and Esmeralda since they were kittens, and just adopted Phineas a week and a half ago from the Humane Society - so far his transition to living here, and the other cats, has been surprisingly smooth. As far as personality, Meeko and Phineas are both very laid back, friendly 'people cats' who love to play, while Esmeralda is rather shy (she was born in a group of feral cats, and subsequently rescued and socialised) and much prefers to spend her days sleeping in the sun on my windowsill. I also had a 16-year-old orange and white domestic long hair, Frisky, but lost him this past April to lower digestive tract failure - one of my early memories is of him being born in our coat closet when I was four, so I'd had him most of my life, and he was the sweetest cat ever - I miss him like crazy.
Can anyone tell me, is posting pictures allowed in this forum, or do they have to be posted in the forum for pictures? I would love to share pictures of my 'babies' if it's allowed.
Anyway, I can't wait to explore the site, it looks great, and get to know everyone! See you all around!
