LOL! I was registered as a Republican when I lived in the US (but rarely voted as such), and at the urging of Ann and Jim (James Brown), I'm attempting to get my right to vote in federal elections back (it's complicated; I'm a US citizen with a permanent foreign address). The problem is that I'll have to re-register as a Republican in my home state if I want to vote in the November Presidential elections. As far as the elections are concerned - tomorrow the sh** is going to hit the fan, because many Bush Sr. appointees are going to publish a letter critical of G.W.'s national security record. This thread will probably end up on the IMO forum.
