Were these birthday wishes for me?? Thanks to all of you for the kind wishes! Heh, it took me about nine months to reply!
Actually, that should be an embarrassed smilie!

Unfortunately, I am very sad over the disappearance of yet another male cat, Mooie. As if losing Mysty was bad enough, now Mooie is gone. What is it with male cats?!!

I pray that a coyote didn't get Mooie. I've been hearing them in the woods lately. Mooie's been missing for about four weeks now and the most that he's ever been gone was three or four days. We just don't have much hope left. Just as last year, it was another horrific winter with near record snowfall.

By reading your birthday posts, you've boosted my spirits a bit. Thanks again for your kindness.

What took me so long was that I very rarely visit the Cat Lounge. As I'm often pressed for time, I usually just browse the Stray and Ferals board or the forum about Cat Health and Nutrition.

It's really sweet of you to post birthday wishes.
Thank you, again!

As for Mooie, it's just so frustrating that you provide for all of a cat's needs, then he decides to take off. Another possibility would be that he's found his owner. There's also the chance that someone is feeding him and giving him shelter. (like his owner!) Another possibility is that he belongs to someone on our street who lets him run and he's been mooching off of us these past months. We'll never know!
