From our rules.....

A note about signatures -
Many of our members have dial-up and when the graphics are large, the posts take a long time to load and puts these members at a disadvantage. Out of courtesy for these members, please try and keep total size of images used to the size of a business card and total file size under 30kb. Thank you for your consideration in this. Any member who displays a larger ad then allowed, may be asked to replace it with a smaller version.

If you 'right click' on the picture and select 'properties', it can tell you the file size. I can pretty much guarantee you that an animated gif such as yours is probably too large.....

Tanya:

I got a size of 80kb when I downloaded it to check. I will say that I run Mac OS, so the right click thing doesn't work for me. Perhaps you can downsize it and return it.

I will figure something out, I am so sorry I wasn't aware of that rule. I wasn't intentionally out to break the rules
Thanks for letting us know Deb.

Cathi:

I get your picture as 56k and your name as another 32. I remember that in the past, what I got on Mac was different than what others got on PC, so don't take my word as gospel.

On yours I get 1849B on the Debsig, and 2713B on the Borg. Under 5K total.

Interesting that Mac reads it differently. You'd think it would be the same.

It is odd, Jeff, but I remember it from the last time we did a signature reminder thread. It must have something to do with the fact that I can't just right click and check on the properties. I have to download the image and check on the file size that way.

I'm on my friend's PC now. You are fine, Nancy, 6300 bytes.
