I was thinking about it, and my 3yr old female tortie went to the vet 3 days after she escaped. She isn't fixed. Then I went back 14 days later, wich would have been 17 days after she escaped. The vet said she felt babies, is that too early? I've been kinda in denial this whole time. She is still very very thin. Everyone who pets her says she can't be pregnant.

Hmmm??

thanks

If you read the first reply in this thread, you'll get some idea about what the babies feel like. 17 days seems a bit early to be able to feel babies but perhaps the vet is very experienced in that area. If she is pregnant, you need to be feeding your girl a good quality kitten food now and right up to when the babies are weaned.

thankyou, Kumbulu

I hadn't read that. The vet said when she felt them, they felt like extra bladders. I'm not sure what size cat bladders are, I think she compaired them to a bb or something. I've been feeding her canned Iams kitten food, as much as she wants. She only eats a little bit at a time, and she has dry adult/kitten mixed in the master bathroom. She has two beds as well as two boxes. Oh yeah, and a pottybox. I'm just kinda scared, and nervous about this.

well, thanks again.
