I have windows that are either beveled glass or etched glass and the idiots who lived here before got paint on them when they painted the frames. Any suggestions on how to remove the paint without harming the etchings or glass?

Danke.

Try a sharp scalpel blade. Be very careful though, and test a small area first. That is the usual way for removing paint, you'll just have to see how it goes on etched glass.

There's no place like home
I just used paint stripper on some old brass door hardware last week (beautiful etched brass inset handles on pocket doors). Put it on, let it sit 15 minutes then scrubbed it off with a strong toothbrush. After the initial scrub, I ran water over it while I scrubbed some more. If you go this route, you might want to read the can to make sure it doesn't affect glass adversely.

What some people paint! Yikes!!
