Hi all!

I just wanted to formerly introduce myself. My name is Jackson Galaxy. I'm a cat behavior consultant, and with my partner Dr. Jean Hofve, a cat veterinarian, we are Little Big Cat. The bulk of my work is done in-home, helping resolve problems like litterbox issues, aggression and a host of problems you'd not believe..well you probably would, or you wouldn't be here reading this in the first place

A more complete bio is available by following this link, which will take you to my website:

I'm so glad to be a part of The Cat site community. I'll be putting my 2 cents in especially where it concerns behavior, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best to all, and to your feline companions.

Welcome, welcome, welcome. I am so very glad to see you, as my vet and I believe one of my cats has some real behavioral issues, I live in a rural area, and am reluctant to take my highly anxious cat to a behaviorist, who would be hours away. So I definitely look forward to seeing what help I can glean from your posts.

Welcome aboard...

Interesting to see that you are also enthralled with the non-domestic species.

How much similarity have you noticed between the species in your experiences?

Jackson!

Hello and welcome! And thank you Sir. After our talk yesterday I went out and did some one-on-one with Noddy and Wink. The results? Noddy was on the back porch last night! So thanks again and I will keep working with your suggestions.

Thank you for accepting this non-paying advisor's position!

Welcome! Welcome! As long as I've been owned by cats, they never cease to surprise me with their antics! I would love to hear a discussion on a multi-cat household sometime!

I second that request perhaps with the slant of when there are ill cats (senior catizens with non-curable conditions ongoing) as part of the mix.

Welcome from me and my crew as well

Welll...

It sure seems unanimous! I would suggest something a bit more specific so perhaps we can start a new thread on multi-cat homes. Pose specific questions or quandries, and I'm off to the races, OK?

Also, I've gotten a few pieces of mail asking for more specifics on how I work in homes. since it's a bit off the beaten path, I think the best explanation I've given thus far is in our most recent newsletter, in an article called "From The Galaxy Files." You can find it here:

I hope that answers more questions than it raises!

I'll look forward to hearing from all of the multi-catters out there. Well, maybe not ALL..
