Pondwader,

I don't know where your post went to- but if you need help with young orphaned kittens www.kitten-rescue.com is a great resource.

You can also PM Kumbulu and ask her questions or Sandie or I can help out as well-

Hope the young ones are okay?

Sorry, I edited the post, thinking it would just delete it. I had 3 kitties dumped on my property, at least I think they were. My kids needed to be somewhere and I didn't have time to finish the post...
Anyway, they won't let me anywhere near them, and though they ate the food I put out I haven't seen them since. They all seem to be adults, one seems to be an older male, the other two are younger females I think.
I'm going to rent a live trap and see if I can get them and take them to the shelter. It is a no kill shelter, and I think the male needs medical attention, his ear looked torn and probably infected. I may have already found homes for the females, if they aren't too wild. They look very poorly cared for, poor things. Makes me so mad. The shelter will see to it that they get medical attention though, cheaper than the vets, and then if these people are willing to take them they can adopt them from there. It will cost them money instead of getting them free from me, but at least this way I know the cats will get medical attention and spayed/neutered bfore anyone takes them.

I do hope you manage to trap these poor kitties. Please keep us informed as to how you go on. I think they will probably come back for food during the night.
