He was the epitome of the "American entertainer". May he RIP!
Wow. That's so sad to hear.
This is a great loss.
He had a tragic life and great talent, he will be greatly missed.

First Reagan then Ray Charles. We seem to be loosing them faster than we can replace them.

One of the first songs, that I can remember, was "I Can't Stop Loving You" by Ray Charles. His part in "The Blues Brothers" was priceless. too.
Another great man gone. He'll be sorely missed.
