Amy, have you gotten the results? I went through the same thing recently (negative results), so I'm hoping you've had good news.

Thank you all! The report is not yet in and the office is closed until Monday morning. So I'm just going to stay distracted all weekend long and assume everything is negative. I was feeling good enough to do some laundry today and spent some time talking to the feral girls in my garage, which I haven't been able to do for the last few days. Took a long nap and now I can't sleep!

Oh, what a long wait. Great plan to stay constantly occupied and distracted, but remember not to overdo it as you're still recovering from a painful procedure. This must be such a difficult wait, please remember that we are right here absolutely anytime you need to talk.

Ditto! It's 3 p.m. on the East Coast, and 12 p.m. on the West Coast - maybe it's just too early.

I don't know how I missed this thread earlier!

I have had three biopsies of breast lumps over the last 15 years -- luckily, all have been benign. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you that yours is benign as well.

Oh sh*t, cr*p, and other deleted words! Called first this this morning and left a message with the woman who is an assistant to the surgeon. I call again a few minutes ago as she hasn't called back and was told she is out ill today. So.....can anyone else in the office see if the report is back and let me know the results?......."no, you'll have to call back at 9AM tomorrow". Me: you know I've been waiting on this result since last Thursday and I'm really getting anxious about it, you sure there isn't anyone there that can look for the report and read me the results? "no, you'll have to call back at 9AM tomorrow". *sigh*

OK, back to cat toys.......

While I understand that not just anyone can read the results to you and they want to be sure you have correct information, how frustrating for you. I am so sorry
I know what it's like for the doctor to scare you out of your mind and then you have to wait for test results. I was once told I had a brain tumor, waiting was the hardest part. Hang in there, we are all praying for you.
