Had an abnormal mammogram and ultrasound last week, and the doctor recommended a surgical biopsy. I went in yesterday morning and they took 10 separate biopsies with 3 incisions. It was all I could do to lay in bed yesterday and today I feel like swiss cheese. I get the biopsy report tomorrow.

Anyone up for some good vibes that this all comes out negative? I'm sweating bullets over here. But my cats, sweet angels that they are, are taking turns sitting quietly in my lap and purring for me.

Sending you many positive vibes...and
recommend holding a purring cat close. I swear listening to the loving vibrations of Ophelia purring lowers my blood pressure and makes everything right in my world

Good vibes coming your way. I went through the same thing 4 years ago. I know how scary it is waiting for results. You will be in my prayers.

Yes it does, but only if they sit still. Eight-ball actually tried to crawl on top of my chest last night and I almost went thru the ceiling when he hit the incisions.

I have low blood pressure normally. I was awake during surgery and watched the blood pressure monitor so that I didn't have to watch what they were doing to me. I used to do relaxation Yoga so used those technigues and actually had my blood pressure down to 112/64 at one point in the surgery. The highest it went all day was 142/72 after the surgery when I was begging the nurse to remove the IV tube which had been irritating me for 3 hours (in the crook of my arm since they couldn't get a vein in my wrist or hand).

Had a 3 hour nap this afternoon and woke up feeling better. I want to get up and do things (there's a new tuxedo to trap LOL), but don't want to rip open the sutures again like I did last night. Tis a good sign that I am getting totally bored but I have to be cautious about overdoing things right away.

Called the surgeon's office this afternoon to pester them about the results but they didn't have them yet, but promised to keep calling them until they get the report.

And yes, waiting is the hardest!
