Tania I have to agree with you, I believe that is very wrong. It isn't bringing them closer to God it is just getting them a play station. That really is unbelievable.

Tania I have just gone back and scrolled right down to the bottom. I hate it all. The thong bit is horrible but that picture of Jesus leaping is horrible too.

If you didn't notice, this entire site is a joke.

Atleast, if it's not, I honestly hope everyone who seriously maintains/visits this site be promptly tied to a post and beaten to death with tiny cellular phones.

I always wonder who has so much time that they can put up these elaborate "joke" sites. I guess some people think it's funny, but I don't have that much time to waste on a spoof.

What's sad is the sick type of individual it takes to create something like that, joke or not. They put alot of time into creating the webpage.

I'd call that a huge WASTE of time, personally!

Is this in bad taste? Yes I believe so but there are a lot of people that kind this kind of thing humorous. Honestly, I don't find it funny but I know more than a few people that would.

Is it a waste of time? How knows, maybe this people or person just wanted to put a website up. Maybe they are just trying to be funny. Maybe they're trying to make a statement about the way their specific church is being run. (And unfortunately, at least in this area there are some churches that seem to be more interested in getting people in the church by whatever means necessary than they are in actually teaching the word.) Or maybe they're just mean spirited. At any rate, I'm not willing to write it off as a waste of time.

I love Landoverbaptist and such. Not a bad parody I thought. I have seen film of TV Christians demanding money for salvation. It reminds mean of the Chick tracts you see also.

I think this site is way too elaborate, and I wonder if there are any kids who visit the site and actually believe what they read?

Also, I don't think messages like the one below should be directed at kids, and I wonder if whoever created this site is actually trying to rip people off?????????

It is a joke, I have seen the sight before. Someone brought it to my attention (a child) becuase on the one section well, lets just say they were making claims that a young girl thought were accurate and freaked out about. I think it is absolutely tasteless.

Don't you just love the internet? Our kids don't just get free porn, but free misinformation about God and free advice on how to steal credit card and check numbers!

I've never understood this "I do it because I can" attitude. There's nothing even remotely amusing about this site. The sadest part is that there ARE "Christians" out there who are so scary that they become the butt of this kin of joke. This cr@p was not pulled out of thin air, this was done to mimic REAL PEOPLE and REAL RELIGIONS. There ARE so-called "Christians" out there who behave this way and believe this sort of thing. THAT is what we should be worried about first and foremost. People who, in the name of God, represent all that is evil. Like these Taliban and Iraqi Muslim fundamentalists who make the whole world believe that Islam is nothing but a violent, self-serving, women-hating wacko cult when in truth it is the furthest thing from.

Sadly, there will always be people out there to make distasteful jokes like this, because there will always be someone to inspire them.

Who thinks of these thing??? That time could best be spent doing something really productive!! Is this a paying job??

I'd put this in the same category as "Bonsai Kitten". I also agree with DiMa. This is in poor taste, but watching some of the televangelists, I can understand where the inspiration comes from.
