When I got home from work today I went to check the mail and someone had posted a notice that said "Wanted" they were looking for their kitty Cloud, who disappeared from their apartment 5/19. There was a picture of a beautiful kitty and they mentioned it is declawed on the front paws. I am praying that this baby makes his way back home safely, as I know it's not safe for him outside, especially without front claws. He really can't fend for himself.
I don't know these people, but I feel so bad for them. Please guys say a prayer for this poor baby

Just did. I know how this feels and it is NOT good
Prayers have been said for Cloud to make his way back home safely.

And to change his mommy and daddy's hearts about declawing in the future!

It makes me want to go out and look for him myself. Do you guys think it would be weird for me to print out the info on lost kitties and bring it to them and offer my help??? They gave their apartment number on the sheet. If it were me I would be glad for the help, but well, what do you think?

Nope. Not weird at all. I rather expect that they would appreciate your interest, and it may be that there will be things they haven't thought of doing that they would be grateful to have suggested.

Meanwhile, add another name to the list of people praying for Cloud's safe return. Don't forget to tell them that we've got Board Magic working for them.

Oh my gosh
It says that the chance of finding a lost indoor cat is only 2%, how can I go and explain that to these people
I wonder though why they would only start posting pictures today if they lost their baby on the 19th of last month. I am going to go and get their phone number off that paper and call them.

I think what the site is saying is that in order to have a better than 2% chance...you should do what they suggest.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would refuse help...especially not when it's regarding finding a loved one.

I hope that Cloud returns and that they will let you help however you can in the interim.

Well, I tied calling last night but no answer, and their voice mail is full
I am not sure that I understand how that could happen. If they are looking for the kitty then wouldn't they most definately be checking their messages, especially with those fliers out there? I am hoping that I just wrote the number down wrong, I am going to check it again on my way to work. I dialed it 3 times to make sure I was dialing it correctly.

UNF relatively close by, but I think I can be sure in saying there isn't any way that a cat could get all the way there from my apartments. There's 2 highways between here and there and lots of woods etc, if that's what you meant? If she ha sany other ideas I would be glad to give her the info

The pic is a black and white picture, the flier is hung up by the mailboxes, it's pouring right now or I would go double check but the cat is gray with white paws and white on his chest. The front paws are declawed, the hair looks short. I have the names and contact information also if she needs it. (I will double check the physical description in a few)
