my kitty is driving me crazy

my kitten, who is 12 weeks old constantly meows all the time. it won't stop. i thought it was because it didn't like to be alone, but even when my boyfriend and i are around it still meows. i don't know what to do. can anyone help me?

Chances are it just misses it's littermates. Any chance of adopting another kitten around the same age? I suppose you have taken him to the vet to be checked out? If not, it would be a good idea just to be safe.

Does sound like kitty is lonely for a playmate, was use to other kittens, and now is the time to get another one because when they get older it is difficult to introduce a new cat and usually takes a long time,and usually does not go well, why go through all that later?, My cat was the only "child" and when she had just turned one 1 brought another cat home, that was 2 yrs. ago and they still dislike each other! Now had I took in a kitten very early on they would likely be pals.
