Well, the warmer weather is finally here and Nakita has been very anxious to go outside for her walks. I knew I would have to buy a new leash and this year I am naming Nakita The Blue Bunny. Nakita finally can go outside with a harness that fits her perfectly and the one she is wearing this year is actually a harness for pet ferrets or rabbits! Yes, if only she knew!
The shame!

So for the summer, at least, Nakita will be known as The Blue Bunny on her nightly walks!
These are two pics taken just awhile ago. Sorry for the poor colour quality but I had the camera on the wrong setting and Nakita was getting irritated by the noisy neighbours so I had to shoot these one's fast.

Enjoying the backyard

Playing with the local greens

I love cat eyes!

The photo quality looks just fine to me. Nakita looks like totally absorbed in an outdoor adventure. I love her "smile" in the last photo. She looks so adorable.

Very nice pictures.

Cats aren't always good about doing things somebody else's way.

The color looks fine to me. A little yellow, or warm, but that's to be expected from the lighting conditions and is really a reflection of personal preference. If you have Photoshop CS, you can sometimes do an "auto color" on it. Even if you're not satisfied with the results, it might give you a starting point for manual toning. It has taken me many years of training to spot what color bias an image might have without having to compare it to another image.

Some people prefer the warmer tone (like late-day sunlight) and some prefer more scientific color. It's really up to you. There are times the warmer colors are actually more accurate colors, because light tends to reflect off of warm surfaces (green grass, yellow window sills, tan curtains, etc...)

She's quite beautiful.
She'll have to come over and model sometime.
Her eyes are spectacular.

Oh my I don't check the photo thread as much anymore, but when I do Nakita is definitely the top of my list of gorgeous kitties I'd love to see!! Love the outdoor pics Kass, and especially 'The Blue Bunny' bit! Couldn't be cuter!

Thanks for the demonstration Scott! Actually, I received Photoshop as a present but I never seem to have enough time to sit down to really learn it.

........

Thanks everyone for the great comments. Nakita really loves the great outdoors and I'm so glad I found a harness that fits her.
