Prom Pics!

Here are some pics from my prom last night:

A group shot of my friends and me. (Not an extremely flattering picture of me, but I think they all look fabulous!)


My friend Sarah and me, at the end of the night. (We'd been dancing for four hours - so if we look like H---, that's why!)

All in all, it was a lot of fun.

Certainly did, and the best part is I get to go back next year (I'm a year younger than Scott, so I get to go to his prom AND my prom... hehe).

My mom says I'm a brat and I'm using it as another excuse to get another pretty dress, but I think I did fairly well with that one -- I got it at a used shop and talked the lady down to $55.

I think you did pretty darn good! I bought my dress for around $150 (Cdn.) and have only worn it once since.

You all look very pretty and it looks like you had a lot of fun.

You all look like you were having so much fun! And I really like your dress - very becoming. They don't have proms here in Germany, which I find sad. It's one of the few opportunities in most people's lives to dress up like the "belle of the ball" or her escort.

Do they have a lot of other sorts of school dances in Germany, or is the whole idea of school dances just not popular?

The "länder" (states) won't put out the money associated with school dances, unfortunately. Most schools are only half-day ones, for the same reason.

You guys look great & I'm glad you had a great time. Hope you enjoy next year's prom as well!

Jen, you're gorgeous! And Tricia's right - that dress is so becoming! You look like you had SO much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your mom has nothing to complain about - you did GREAT on purchasing that dress!!

You look great! I remember prom . . . I miss it. There's really nothing like it once you leave high school, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
