I've been away from home for four days in another city looking for a job. Is it sad that I miss my cat more than I miss my husband? I keep wondering if he'll forget me, since he's still just a baby. I'm thankful I get to go home tomorrow. Josh says he purrs when he hears my voice on the phone.
I just miss him!

Not so strange, your husband can take care of himself and knows why you aren't there - plus you can talk to him on the phone/email.

I miss my babies too when I am away from home.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Doesn't sound at all sad to me! I recently went the longest I've ever been with seeing anyone from my family~ from Christmas until the first of May. Although I did miss them, we continued to communicate on the phone and through letters. My heart longs for Sierra after a few hours and I can't wait to get back to see her sweet face when she greets me at the door so we can cuddle and play!
Four days!
You must miss him so badly! It must be quite a comfort to know he is being so well loved and cared for!

I'm back! He did remember me. As soon as I put my bag down he jumped in my arms, started purring and rubbing his head against my face! He even started eating again. Josh said he stopped eating for a couple of days and would sit by the window most of the day watching people walk up the stairs. Josh thinks he was watching for me! It feels soo great to have him in my arms again!

He missed his Mommy! What a sweetie
I missed this post yesterday, but I just wanted to add I don't think it's strange you were thinking more about your kitty than your hubby. You can be pretty much assured he is gonna remember you when you get back, and he understands that your away and when you will be back. You can't really know that your kitty understands why your away and that you will be back. That was the hardest for me when I left Dori when I went camping for a weekend. I just imagined her sitting there wondering if her mommy was ever coming back
I couldn't wait to get back home to her! I miss her when I am at work even!

Took the words right out of my mouth! Of course he didn't forget you! I've sometimes not seen my family's pets for two years, and they've never failed to recognize me.
