fostermom28 I can't see pepper. Even the link doesn't work.
Are you a fosterer too?

I am loving these tabbies. Someone else here already said this, but I used to think brown tabbies were boring and ordinary. Now that I have them I love all the brown tabbies I meet! They really are beautiful souls.

Here's my sweet little guy Maubee:

And here he is taking one of my tabby fosters in hand! I'm sure a vigorous groom wasn't far behind. :

Here's a current foster Laurel (who gives really forceful headbutts!):

And her crazy sister Lana who liked to roll around like an otter and has already been adopted out:

#1. I am a computer idiot. I don't know why they don't show up??

#2. Yes I am very much a foster-mom. Currently I have 8 foster babies (2 are already adopted, but I'm holding them for a few days until their new homes are set up and ready to go). We have so many kitties right now that I'm just busting at the seams. Hopefully more adoptions to come in order to make room for more!!

They are all so cute! The cat my parents had when I was growing up, Ashley, was a tabby cat. She was so pretty. I don't have any pictures of her though

Polydactyly (six or seven toes) varies from the classic "mitten cat" through to cats which simply have more toes than normal, but no "thumb". A correspondent to the New Scientist noted that the innermost extra toes on the front paws are often opposable and some cats use them with quite startling proficiency to manipulate small objects with almost human dexterity. Some owners of polydactyl cats joke that their cats are more intelligent because of this and represent the next stage in feline evolution - the ability to open cartons and cans unaided.

Here's my Trixie peeking out of a bag.......we were packing for an overnight stay, and I think she was trying to be a stowaway.....what do you think?
Trixie is so adorable, my Astor is a tabby, and he HAS to go into EVERY bag and suitcase! I will hopefully get some pics on here soon!
