It's my Monday! First day back to work for my seven on!

Woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. Not sure why. But I'll take it!

Rashid left for Iraq yesterday. He'll be in An-Nassaryia with his family soon. First he'll have to spend a few days in Syria (very complicated process to get into Iraq) where he'll have to bribe Syrian government officials. Very interesting.

Woke up to Peaches staring me in the eyes. I'm not kidding... she was right in my face and scared the crap out of me!

She has been really lovey and even more friendly since we moved.

Met a couple who lives a couple doors down. They are in love with Peaches and want a Persian. Wish I had known that before I rehomed Henrietta since her and Peaches look so much alike. They would have loved her!

Well, have a good day folks! I'm off to the races!

today i got up with the most horrible headache, but ive cured that now cuz i took some asprin.
so im just having a cup of coffe, then gonna start decorating, were in the middle of doing the kitchen, have glossed the doors, so just got to finish stripping the wallpaper. and thats about it for today

Well, I'm back from my trip to Italy. I wanted to thank everyone for their good thoughts for my kitties. Both seem fine and no blocking like the last time we went out of town. (Thank God!)

I'm exausted from the jet lag and I think I might be getting a cold. (Figures, 10 hours on a plane with all that recycled air will do that)

I'm off today and go back to work tomorrow!

I just woke up *yawn*, I wanna crawl back into bed! Late start at school today. Then school. Then bed. Boring day as usual!

In addition to being the day after a holiday weekend, it's the first of the month. We had calls backed up, all morning. One woman wanted to know why we were suddenly charging her interest, on her account. I explained to her that she had been paying interest on her car loan, from Day One. She insisted that we just started that, within the past three months. Some people are too STUPID, to be driving cars!

The wonderful new updates, to our system didin't materialize, either. Thursday and Friday, we had to deal with system crashes, because of the updates and they were supposed to be installed, by today. Instead, we had more system crashes. For several hours, every third call was crashing the system. And people wonder WHY I keep chocolate in my desk drawer!

At least, I didn't have to cook. We had plenty of leftovers from yesterday's barbeque. Its too hot to cook, anyway - we hit our first 100-degree temp, of the year. Its official - the ice has broken on the Santa Cruz River.

It's tuesday. The long weekend is past. Jeff spent sunday night passing multiple kidney stones in the middle of having company over for a BBQ.
He's fine, and I'm glad to get back to work.
The BBQ went off well. He had the good grace and taste to wait until the night was almost over, and my husband could BBQ cheerios and make them special.
I hope everyone had a better weekend than we did.
