Oh those are very cool! Thanks for sharing. I use vinegar to rinse Jake after shampooing him. It gets out soap residue and restores the pH balance in the cats skin.

Thanks!!!! I'm going to print that out so it will be easy to refer to. I use equal parts water and vinegar to wash my windows at home, and I'm really satisified with the results I get.

Whew! I don't know why I worried anyway, she has used it since I cleaned it.
I just wanted to make sure it was ok to keep using. I thought it worked well, I made sure it was all rinsed out well and air dried it. Thanks Lori!

You can also put 1 c of vinegar in a microwave safe bowl, put in microwave and cook it for about 3 minutes.  Then, wipe the microwave clean.

I use a 1:1 ratio of water and vinegar to clean mirrors and windows.

Add 1 C to the rinse cycle of your washer (in place of Downy) to keep your clothes soft.

Great tips....thank you! (I buy white vinegar by the gallon jug.)

I use vinegar and water to clean my kitchen and bathroom floors instead of harsh chemicals.

I mix equal parts of vinegar and honey.  Keep the jar beside the kitchen sink.  At first sign of cold, take by the tablespoon all day.  Usually that heads it off for me.  Sometimes I have to do it for two days.  It knocks out sore throat and colds.  It also is a wonder cure for heartburn.

I do almost all of the tips! I actually buy vinegar by the gallon, as I use it so much.  In fact, I ran a cup in the dishwasher tonight in order to make the dishes sparkle and clean the dishwasher.

I'll add 3 more: I bathe in it! I add a cup or 2 of white vinegar to my bath water.  It makes my skin feel refreshed and smooth, and it looks nice--a sort of squeaky-clean feeling. I've been doing this for years. Be aware that it can make the tub slippery when you get in and out. It doesn't always do this in my tub; I use a lot of different soaps, so maybe it reacts with certain ones, and creates a residue.

Sort of related to #1:  I make a facial toner from apple cider vinegar, diluted with a bit of water.  Also, white or cider vinegar, diluted with a bit of water dabbed on a minor cut will help to heal it.

Also, I often drink a "tonic" of 2 TBL apple cider vinegar in 8 oz of cold water, up to twice a day. Yeah, it tastes awful, but I do feel peppier after drinking this.  I also do this when coming down with a cold; it seems to either stave it off, or at least lessen the severity of a cold.

(NEVER put straight, undiluted vinegar on your skin or scalp.)

When I was a child, my grandma used to rinse my hair with vinegar she added to 2-3 cups of water. For some time now I've been using this method again. It makes my hair shiny and feel smooth. When I  tell people, they always ask me about the bad stinky odor they are used to when it comes to vinegar. But I can assure anyone there are no bad odors, no odors at all after you dry your hair.

For some weeks I've been using baking soda instead of shampoo to wash my hair, and vinegar to rinse it off. It's kind of interesting

I use white vinegar to clean Noney and Zellys water bowl.  I let it soak for about an hour then rinse well till the smell is all gone.  Keeps it clean and get's rid of the germs.
