Great picture! Yes, I remember the movie (German), primarily because the director (or was it the producer?) committed suicide a few years later. Oddly enough, the film is hardly ever shown on TV here.

Oooh! Great movie-I guess I'm just an 80's kid. I loved the flying dragon and the rock eater.

For those who have seen the movie, I can't recommend the book too highly. Some versions of the book have the "real life" and the "fantasy world" parts in different fonts and different colors.

I would post a pic from the movie since we have the dvd of the movie, but I'm not there yet Some triva, on my database, its automatcially titled with this: Die Unendliche Geschichte, which I am assuming is the same thing, interesting to say they least.

I loved that movie...They show a cartoon version of it on one of the kid stations now, but its not as good. That is a great picture btw.
