SHELL!!!! Freakin YIKES!!!!

I haven't been following posts at all to see if you posted anything about this, but I thought about you the past few weeks with all the dang tornados out your way. You are the only one in Nebraska that I know!! LOL I heard on the Weather Channel last night you guys were getting them again. Are they anywhere near you?????

I just read your post and remembered Shell did post about the tornadoes, here it is, so that you know she is safe, so your mind will be at ease until she sees your post and is able to post herself

Carrie, I sent you a PM about it too. Yes, it looks like the tornadoes LOVE my presence! I was hoping that by leaving Lincoln for 3 days, I'd get some quiet time & be free from the storms. Well...they followed me! I'm so tired of them & wish I could just snap my fingers...and POOF they're gone! If it were only that easy, huh?

Thanks for thinking about me & send some "Storms-Be-Gone" vibes this way, ok?

And we thought we had it bad in MI with LAKE EFFECT snow. Yeah, RIGHT! We actually...for us in MI, anyway...had our fair share of the Tornados, too. We get a few, but nothing like the midwest. One was in our county but way east of us. The others were either south or northwest by a good hour or so.

I am glad you are ok, though! I think I would need therapy if I lived out there....!

I wish someone really could make the storms go away that easily because I had a scare a little while ago. It hasn't been raining or storming in my town at all today, but there was a severe thunderstorm north of my area and it generated a tornado only 15 miles away from my town, so our sirens went off. The tornado went toward the north, and there are some counties under a tornado warning right now, so I hope the people in that area stay safe.

Here's a picture of the hail that we got last night. This piece was actually tiny compared to the ones we got a week ago...BASEBALL sized!

Unfortunately, I did get a couple dings on my car. Nothing major enough to turn into the insurance, but enough to make me cuss. The joys of living in the Midwest!

Funny story...last week I was at work when bad weather started to move in. There was a tornado warning for a county not too far from us. I am only a mile and a half from work, but I made it clear that if we were to get that warning, my butt is going HOME to my CAT! I swear to God. I would risk life and limb to get her to the basement!

A man and his son got struck by lightning Saturday night here in Omaha. It happened about 7 miles from my house. The Father is still in critical condition and his son has been upgraded to good condition.

It sure has been scary in this neck of the woods....

Wow! I'm impressed! We don't get any dramatic weather over here (we have other sorts of dramas Those balls of ice look very dangerous to me. Reminds me of the movie I went to this week - The Day After Tomorrow
