I am facing a severe cutback financially. I have had to cut out satellite, and I had to put one of my cell phones on interrupt. Because of the heat here in Arizona, I have had to use the A/C sooner than I had planned. My question:

I am using a scoopable litter with scent. While it is only $6 or $7 (including tax), I have to use two each time I change/scoop litter. I am thinkinig of going to a cheaper type of litter, but I know I am going to have problems with scooping because whatever clumps there might be, won't stay together. Also the cheaper ones I don't think are scented and having to buy deoderant will add to the total of everything.

I just am not sure what to do, all I know is that my inside and outside babies will be taken care of FIRST, I just need to cut some corners. Any suggestions, helps, advice will be gratefully appreciated, and thank you in advance.

If there is a feed store near you- call them and ask if they carry Stall Dry. It is a granulated mixture you sprinkle in the stalls to take care of odor. My cats love it, and it is cheap. $5.95 for large 20 pound bag. It is great for odor control too.

Hissy - is this Stall Dry like cat litter? We have quite a few horse stores around here as there are horse farms - does it clump? I am interested in this product.
