Tania-
What beautiful babies you have! I love the one of Stripes with his mouth open, I also like his feet
I like the markings on Vegemite, especially the little dot right on the nose

I am wondering, how are they with the kittens? Do you have them around them?

They're so beautiful, Tania! Vegemite's markings are so gorgeous!
That last one of Stripes made me laugh so loud Sierra sat up from where she was sleeping beside me and meowed. "What's so funny, Mommy?"

Thanks guys.
Squirtle, both Vegemite and Stripes ARE one of the kittens LOL. Vegemite came to me at one day old last kitten season and has the privelleged position of being the only kitten I've kept.
Stripes is the last kitten of this season (I think!) and is about 4 months old now. I'm really not sure why he's still here lol.

Milo is the only one of my cats that is fine with the kittens. He's frightened of them when they're really tiny and squawking but likes to lick them when they're about 3 weeks and older. Coco, Vegemite and Popcorn just hiss at them if allowed, although Vegemite likes to play with the 7-8 weekers once she's got over herself. Having said that, Popcorn is, at this minute, giving Stripes a nice bath. Because he's older and has been here a while, I guess he's become accepted.

Well, I vowed to myself that I wouldn't keep any of the kittens as I already had 3 cats and that was enough for me. When Vegemite was about 3 weeks old, she had a sort of 'crisis' where her breathing and heart rate were extremely rapid and she became semi-conscious. She was diagnosed with a heart mumour and Pectus Excavatum (funnel chest or flat chest). As she grew, she was small for her age but didn't seem to be showing any other symptoms. I didn't want her to go to anyone, as I didn't want to give them a sick kitten or a kitten that could die within a year (which is what the vet said would happen). So I told myself that I would give her the best life possible as one of my cats while she was here, and I did. When she was 6 months old, it was time for her spay, so I took her off to the vet for a pre-spay check-up. Well! The vet found no heart mumour and the Pectus Excavatum had resolved! She was still small for her age and the vet didn't do her spay until she reached 3Kg. Now, at 18 months old, she is perfectly healthy, a normal weight and one of the gang and there's no way she's going anywhere!

That's such a sweet story, and just more of a testiment to what a loving person you are~giving your heart to a kitten that wasn't suppose to live a year.
So, not only is she privileged, she's also a miracle!

I think your last picture disturbed Grissom. He was sitting on my lap and as soon as I scrolled down he scrambled off my lap and ran into the other room.
