I always seem to ask a lot of health questions on here! Maybe some of you can help me with this one....

I am trying to find some kind of dental insurance for my husband, Zack. His company has horrible provider and to put him on mine, would be too expensive--like $30 a month! I thought about going through Texaco/Shell which we use as a credit card, but not sure how reliable those are?! Anyone got any good tips/advice? Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated!!

I worked at Mutual of Omaha for several years and the one thing people don't consider when buying a policy is what the deductible is and whether you will make use of the insurance yearly after the deductible is paid. Say, if the deductible is $1500, you need to consider if you will need more dental work than that amount each year. Insurance policies are less monthly or even bi-annually if they have larger deductibles so that's what most people go with but they don't consider they are paying alot out they don't need to. If you can find a company that would cover all, medical, dental and life insurance at a reasonable rate, it may be worth your while to change companies altogether. Some will also offer you a better rate if they know you are willing to come to them from another company.

We are very secure in our jobs right now, I don't think it would even be smart to make a change over something like just finding dental insurance...if any of you use DENTAL insurance outside of your company--who do you use?
